THE MORRISON CORP would like to thank FNP for its fine productions, insight and oversight over the last 3 years in the promotion of all of the events that TMC have been involved with. FINE JOB the new site looks blazing and the action is definitely still here at FNP as usual, good work! Sadly we regret to inform everyone that TMC’s Multiple World Heavy Weight Champ is retiring!!! Yes, the undisputed, undefeated champ has decided, for multiple reasons to cut his career short! We caught up with him for comments ….. “Well first of all I want to thank all the TMC fans and ANTDOG fans this road to glory couldn’t have been done without you … not at all…. Roaring lion you’re the number one sports Intel around, Catdog, Sunny..I couldn’t do this without you…you are ANTDOG… every powershot, or overhand hook could not have been done without you…every fatal fury special or right cross is powerless without you! It’s been great!”-ANTDOG Later the media got a chance, at a closed press conference to ask more in dept questions. – “why, why after all you’ve accomplished why!” -Boxing news “this was hard I’ll miss the sport, I’ve given the fans memories to take with, I’ve given people something to talk about at the water cooler! I’ve done it! I just want to challenge the new generation to be just as, in fact, even more explosive, even more awe inspiring…and give even more of a show than what I gave yeh! ”-ANTDOG One lingering question was left to ask; one tantalizing thought that was in the mind of all ……..but as the paparazzi overwhelmed the champ in a barrage of flashing lights and cameras, we were unable to even utter this question…”NO MORE QUESTIONS”!!!NO MORE QUESTIONS echoed throughout the press room as Anthony Morrison Jr leaves the building. More than a hint of unbelief filled the air as people tried to figure out why and as people fight to hold back the emotion of this moment you could see why this man was more than a fighter to boxing, he was a Warrior, a Champion, A Living Legion and a Showman ….he was what boxing needed at the time, and the question, the question was not even asked……The question was simple………… will you return? There was no time to ask! So we sought out TMC to ask…they simply stated that the retired champ will not return under any question! “TMC can focus now on new projects and up and coming fighters” We wished we never asked…. The end of an age or the beginning….that question is up to TMC.
